well, i sold my 03 cocker to dingo77 on pbn and it was is 100% perfect condition, and i never had a problem with it.
Well, he got it and is having a problem with the balls backing up in the barrel. It only happens sometimes though. It will happen one day and not the next.
here is the PM.
"steve, im havin a little problem......i don't think enough air is getting into the tank. it works sometimes and other times it messes up, like when I shoot it the balls just build up in the barrel.......so if u have had this problem tell me what wrong"
i asked him a few questions about volocity and whatnot and his responce was,
"it only happens sometimes....the day i got it i screwed in the tank and it shot fine..the next day it wasn't shooting hard enough and the balls were building up in the barrel(the valocity is fine because it shot fine before)then the next morning i shot it and it worked fine lmk"
i'm kinda confused about whats wrong also.
Anyone got a clue?
p.s. I used nitro on it and he is using co2(if that helps)

Well first make sure the bolt isn't flipped which i have seen before. The gun just cycles, and paint doesn't come out.
Other wise sounds like it could be a problem with the LPR recocking all the way? or Maybe the sear not dropping all the way and releasing the hammer.
If it has an adjustable lpr turn it up a tad to make sure its cocking. And lube the sear and make sure the lug in the hammer is at the right level to make the gun fire consistently.

if its his first cocker its probably the bolt. does it only happen when hes almost out of air (duh)?
is the cocking rod set a bit too short? cause if its just a tad too short, and the cocking pressures a little low, the bolt will go back and let a ball into the breech then the barrel, but since the cocking s too short it wont discharge
